Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders. Not only is it free, but it is also fast. Because we have multiple shipping warehouses across Canada, delivery typically takes 1-2 business days. Note: PO Boxes can take slightly longer.
2. Is Magic Resin epoxy resin heat resistant?
Once fully cured, all of our epoxy resin products are heat resistant up to about 60c/140F. This means you can put your hot coffee cup on the cured epoxy resin. If subject to higher heat up to 500F, the product will soften but harden back up after exposure.
3. What is the mixing ratio for part (A) and (B) for the Table Top epoxy resin?
By Volume: 1:1. Example: 200ml (A) with 200ml (B)
By Weight(g): 100:85. Example: 300g (A) with 255g (B)
Make sure to mix both part for about 4-5 minutes by scraping the sides of the mixing cup.
Once mixed, you have about 20 minutes to pour on your project. We recommend to prepare your project before so you can pour the mixed resin on your project right after it's mixed. DO NOT scrape the sides of the mixing cup when pouring on your project as this can bring un-fully mixed epoxy resin on your project.
6. How deep can we pour your epoxy resin?
Each product has a recommended max. depth. It gets progressively harder for the bubbles to release the closer you get to the limits, and environmental factors become more important to prevent overheating. Here is the recommended maximum depth for each product:
1. Table Top epoxy resin: Maximum pour depth of 1/4’’. When poured, it will self level at 1/8’’
2. Art & Craft epoxy resin: Maximum pour depth of 1/2’’.
3. Deep Pour & Casting 2’’ epoxy resin: Maximum pour depth of 2’’.
4. Deep Pour & Casting 4’’ epoxy resin: Maximum pour depth of 4’’.
7. What temperature should the working environment should be?
The epoxy resin as well as the working environment should be around 22-24 degrees celsius (70f~75f). It can be higher if you pour well below the recommended depth limit of the product, which will help it cure faster.
8. Do you have distributors?
We do not have distributors. Orders must be placed on our website.
9. Are your products food safe?
Yes, following proper cure, all of our products simply cure to become inert plastics, which is food safe. However, it is recommended to not disturb the product with hot contents and with anything that can chip it off such as knives.
10. Why are your prices cheaper compared to other known brands?
All of our products use the highest quality material to ensure you like it and come back to us. So, how can we stay competitively priced constantly? Simple: we sell directly to the consumers--we don’t have distributors, resellers or contracts with stores, which allows us to provide you with the best prices possible, constantly (as opposed to only during promotions). We also have well-refined operations with multiple warehouses across Canada and the US, allowing us to keep the prices down.
11. How to know how much epoxy resin I need for my project?
When visiting our website www.MagicResin.ca, you will find our epoxy volume calculator at the top. You can enter your project dimensions and you will see how much epoxy resin is recommended for your project. Don’t forget to calculate the volume that your wood slab or object in your project take so you don’t order too much epoxy.
12. Can I use color pigments with your epoxy resin?
Yes, you can use many coloring products made for epoxy resin such as mica powder pigments, alcohol inks and dyes. e recommend to had the colors gradually until you get the desired opacity, as to ensure that you don’t add too much of it which could lead to difficulties in curing.
13. What is the shelf life of your products?
1 year unopened and 6 months opened. That is, for the Hardener to have become slightly too yellow for your needs. Even if the products have passed the shelf life, it will still cure. Keep in mind that once the products are mixed, the yellow will not be as prominent, especially if color pigments are used.
14. How can I compare your products?
Check the middle portion of our main website page, you will see a full comparison chart of all of our products.

Our products all contain the most advanced UV stabilizers and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers). 16. Does Magic Resin have epoxy resin for river tables in Canada?
Yes, our products are not just for crafts and table tops. We have many small & large companies as well as DIY customers that purchase our deep pour epoxy products for their river table projects.
17. White chunks have built up in my Resin (A) bottle, is this normal?
First, no problem! It can be fixed easily. This is called crystallization, a fairly rare phenomenon which can happen to any epoxy resin product. Before using an epoxy product, always inspect the bottom of the Resin (A) bottle for crystals (white-looking chunks). If present, it's easy to fix: place the bottle in the warmest sink water, a few inches deep, for about 30-60m, keeping the water hot throughout and shaking the bottle occasionally. The chunks will dissolve back to their original liquid chemistry, and the product can then be used normally once it comes back down to room temperature.
