I’ve used this three times now to swirl throughout some black epoxy, I love the colour of the gold pigment paste it’s not too yellow and not too orange. Something else that’s really cool is if you want very prominent swirls you can mix in more of it but if you use a very small amount of the paste then the swirls apear and dissapear depending on the angle of the light making a very cool affect
i tried to pour with this paste . after 15 minutes of mixing some parts still were not mixed properly . i tossed the left over and the unopened jar in the trash where they belong
Loved the color. But the paste was very hard/separated and took a lot of work to get mixed enough to use it.
Product half full, no instructions
So I revived my jars of pigment paste and the colours are great. When I open the jars they are not full due to the fact this is measured by weight not volume. Each of the jars weight was between 67 and 69 grams so 50 grams of product leaves at least 17 grams for the jar. Once I went to use the paste I did see it was really thick so I placed the jars on my heat mat set to low for about half hour. Over this time the paste thinned out and it was really easy to mix really well. At the time I went to mix it in to resin I stored it in the jar really well and scraped off the stir stick on the lip of the jar. The small amount of resin just left on the stock was enough to tint two ounces of resin lightly. For a bit of a richer colour I just added a touch more paste and it come out super bright and beautiful finish.
