✅ Ideal Base Coat for Flake Floors: For the best results with flake flooring, we suggest choosing a colored base coat that complements the dominant flake color. For instance, a Light Grey pigment pairs beautifully with our Domino and Gravel flakes.

✅ How much is required for floors?: When doing a floor, you will need 1 bottle (275ml) per 1.5 gallon of epoxy and 2 bottles (2 x 275ml) per 3 gallons of epoxy. Ex: If you need 12 gallons of epoxy for your floor, you will need 8 bottles etc. This is approximately 5% pigment to epoxy resin by volume to achieve optimal colour saturation and uniform coverage when doing a coating. 

✅ How much is required for projects such as river tables, coasters, serving boards, jewelry etc.. You can add the pigment as you mix until you get the desired opacity but you can estimate approx. ~2.5% of pigment to epoxy by volume (roughly half a bottle per 1.5 gallon of epoxy).
